GOD’S MISSION FOR US
We are called to celebrate Jesus, excite others about God’s love and minister to one another and the community!

OUR VISION for 2008

    1) the goals of deploying partners in ministry through P.L.A.C.E. will go from 80% of partnership completing assessment and 50% of those being deployed  to 100% in both categories

    2) Lord’s Lunch and Angel Food Ministry will be our major outreach foci for 2008

    3) Children’s Lighthouse facility expansion will be completed and study/development of Ministry Center Facility will be well underway.

    4) New Director of Youth and Family Ministry will be hired and new program development underway

OUR SIX MARKS OF DISCIPLESHIP

  1. Pray daily

  2. Worship weekly

  3. Read the Bible

  4. Serve with and beyond People of Faith

  5. Be in relationship to encourage spiritual growth in others

  6. Give of my time, abilities and resources

We believe God’s gift to all of us is a transformed life in Jesus Christ.  You will get the most out of your life and your Christian faith when you are actively involved.  Our goal is to provide an involvement opportunity that is just right for you!

Ø      2006: Beginning the use of Natural Church Development (NCD) as an annual church mission assessment tool. Establish our first Church Health Team

Ø      March 2007: Four Major Initiatives begun with the Natural Church Development strategic action process. We identified “Needs-Oriented Evangelism” as our focus.

Ø      June 2007, Special Congregational Meeting approval items include Expansion of our Children’s Lighthouse (CL) facilities and program (approximately 8000 sq. ft. to provide ministry to almost 200 more children!) and authorization in hiring a full time Youth and Family Ministry Director
