OUTDOOR WORSHIP

June 6th

We are all trying to be cautious regarding Covid, but we REALLY miss coming together as the body of Christ. So, we are planning to have OUTDOOR WORSHIP once a month in hopes of seeing the faces of our POF family and perhaps even meeting some new ones:)

In case of rain we will reschedule for the following Sunday.

COME & SEE

We are a warm and friendly congregation ready to welcome you into our faith community.  You can expect friendly people, engaging worship, relevant music, compelling preaching and an opportunity to grow in your faith.  We worship every Sunday at 9:45 am and we invite you to join us once it is safe to gather together again!

PLAN YOUR VISIT

WHO WE ARE

We are a congregation united by our love for Jesus and committed to a common mission to share the gospel and be Christ in the community. We are more interested in praising God than just attending worship. More interested in serving others than being served. More interested in discipleship than membership. We PRAISE, CONNECT, and SERVE as we live out our faith each and every day.

GET TO KNOW US & MEET OUR MINISTRY LEADERS

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it's the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast."

   Ephesians 2:8-9  (NIV)

WHAT WE BELIEVE

As a Lutheran congregation, we have bold confidence in God’s grace. We believe we are saved by God's grace alone -- not by anything we do.  We believe our salvation is through faith alone -- our trust is in God who promises us forgiveness, life and salvation through Christ.  And we believe that scripture alone - the Bible - contains the only necessary guide to truth.

  • Pastor's Hybrid Zoom Class - Sundays @ 10:30 am

"LUTHERAN IDENTITY: A CLASSICAL UNDERSTANDING" by Frank Senn.

What does it mean to be Lutheran? In the sound-bite age in which we live, too often the answer is reduced to a handful of familiar phrases such as "justification by faith," "both saint and sinner," "the priesthood of believers," and "theology of the cross versus theology of glory." But noted theologian Frank Senn appeals to Lutheranism's rich tradition and culture to answer this question.  Come see for yourself!

  • ONLINE GIVING

Giving is a part of our DNA as Christians.  God asks us to give as an act of worship to demonstrate our love and reliance on God, as opposed to ourselves.  It is also a means by which we can give to those around us through our ministries.  We ask you to give as you are able as an act of worship and thanksgiving. This might be a great time to try one of our online giving options.  Or you can simply text a dollar amount to 321-241-2689 or get the GIVE PLUS+ app (search for People of Faith). Thank you People of Faith!
